On Friday, State Representative Karen Reddington-Hughes (R-66) stopped by Woodbury Middle School to congratulate students Ava Cipriano and Fiona Lockwood as winners of the 2026 Woodbury Women’s History Month Essay Contest. Rep. Reddington-Hughes presented the students with Legislative Citations and commended them on their terrific essays.
This year's theme was “Important Women in United States History and How Their Contributions to our Nation Impact Me." Each year, sixth-grade social studies teacher Todd Fontaine encourages students to submit essays for this contest.
