Words Matter at Woodbury Middle School!

The Words Matter group meets weekly with School Counselors and Support Services staff who work together to design activities and have discussions about how to improve the school culture and climate at WMS. This month, the group is leading a Kindness Challenge where they are challenging the school community to pick an “Act of Kindness” from the Words Matter bulletin board and complete it.

The Words Matter group will track the progress on a large paper thermometer for all to see. Their goal -- 500 acts of kindness by the end of October! Today, the 6th-grade School Counseling lesson centered on what it means to be actively kind, which directly connects to the Words Matter Kindness Challenge this month.
